taxes5 When making estimated tax payments to the IRS, do I need to include an amount to cover self employment taxes?
Richard M asked:

I am a self-employed consultant as of this year, so I am responsible for both income and self-employment taxes. If I cover all income taxes due with estimated taxes during the year, but do not include funds to cover SE taxes until I file in 2009, will it appear on my filing next April that I have under-paid, incurring penalties and interest?

foreclosure31 What are the credit implications of foreclosure and for how long?
Annie P asked:

We live in Hawaii and our mortgage has become unmanageable. We just found out our house is worth 64k less than we owe. We have good credit though are overextended because of mortgage. No defaults and one 30 day late pay. We want to sell but do not have the credit left to get a 64k loan to pay off the rest of the loan. We desperately do not want to go into foreclosure. Any options anyone is aware of?
