a ministry is a buiness..like salvation army, red cross, united way, on and on, they all have paid cars, building..jets..ect. hypocrite! to them who put double standard on preachers! who brought in millions and millions into the kingdom of heaven..out of satan kingdom of hell on earth.and worst for them who miss the gospel of liberty from satan ******* and deception about prosperity, abraham to solomon to paul were rich,why did ceasar waited for paul to bribe way out of prison??

For one, Bill Gates is actually VERY charitable. He donates millions every year to charities.
Secondly, “preachers” like Benny Hinn are mooching off his followers and spending VERY liberally on $50K European vacations.
Ministry is not a business. Ministry is there to help lost people find meaning in their lives. You are the hypocrite. Christians are supposed to follow Christ and Christ was the embodiment of humility. I think you have to re-think your perceptions of Christianity. The life of a Christian should be humble.

Ministries are supposed to help people. They ask for your money, and the service you receive in return, is that they’re supposed to feed the starving kids, war-ravaged families, and uninsured sick. Instead, they pocket the money, and you’re ripped off. And to top it off, all those people are still starving, sick, and living in a warzone
On the other hand, Bill Gates makes no promises to feed the healthy, treat the sick, or help out in disaster or war-torn regions of the world. He asks for your money, and in return, all he promises is a user friendly software program.
It’s not hypocritical to expect what you paid for.

Holy smoke. If you’re going to rant that much, please check your spelling and grammar.
I think the big objection to religious people with vast wealth has to do with the tradition that the clergy are supposed to eschew mortal riches in favor of spiritual wealth. Catholic priests actually take a vow of poverty. Admittedly, the church has more money than God, but the individuals clergy members do not.
I’m not defending an alternative position, just explaining one. I’m an atheist.

Okay -I’m with everybody else on this.
Bill Gates never pretended to be anything other than a businessman, out to make money which he is now giving to the poor in vast quantities.
A MINISTER is supposed to teach God’s word and do His work – not use little old ladies’ money for his third wife, nineteen dogs and vacation homes.
You really need to ***** your cap on tighter and, at least, learn grammar and how to use spell check.

I personally find certain aspects of such protestantism showy and not truthful to the gospel message. When you have people sitting in golden chairs with perfectly coifed hair, in business or prisitne suits, screaming foolishly at the top of their lungs, your religion has become a show. Its an emotional ruckus that I personally find abhorant and to me such displays have nothing to do with genuine spirituality. I personally distrust such health and wealth “preachers” because the bible exhorts us to abandon all to serve God:
“Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me” Matthew 19:21.
Many priests and nuns in the catholic tradition actually make a vow of povery, chastity and obedience to better serve God and their fellow man. The true christian spirit is not about success or wealth or gain, but about sacrifice and true love which often demands that we give until it hurts.
